Spore-itis

Spore is a computer game where you can create and "hatch" your own creatures and their families and interact with other creature clans. (like eating them, making friends, etc.)

So Gavin says, "I know that daddy is addicted to Spore."
Me: "Is that so? How do you know?"
Gavin: "Well, he plays it ALL the time!!"
Me: "But does he turn it off when you ask him? If you are truly "addicted", you wouldn't be able to stop playing even if you tried."
Gavin: "I would never ask him to turn it off! I'm addicted to Spore too!!!"

Spelling is in the blood...

Logan got 2nd place for 4th grade in the Spelling Bee last week! He didn't practice at all and I thought he wasn't even going to participate. We are so proud of him for doing his best! Rich won his school's Spelling Bee when he was in Elementary school so we are encouraging our kids to follow in his footsteps. Logan also completed a very successful science project with mold and apples. Way to go Logan!!
