In primary on Sunday, the topic was "extended families" and how we can show love for them and help them. Gavin's class was given this case study: "Grandpa has fallen and hurt himself. He can't take care of his lawn. What can you do to help?"
Gavin's explanation (paraphrased) of how to help: "We can get some kids to help hold up his legs and arms. Maybe we'll need 4 kids to go underneath to hold him up and move him. We might need some adults to help hold up his body and his arms and we'll move his legs so that he can push the lawn mower... I'll hold up his head."
I tell you that I laughed so hard, I was crying for 10 minutes. I think all of his Grandpas will get a kick out of this. :)
